Patty Bank

Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder

Patty is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in sustainable industrial packaging solutions. She successfully grew and sold a business with sales exceeding $10 million, ultimately selling for over $12 million. In her latest ventures, Patty supports businesses in duct manufacturing, cultivation, and construction consultation, and helps women entrepreneurs craft business plans.

For 30 years, she has been an active supporter of the Conscious Alliance, working on initiatives that support First Nations and food security. A joyful grandmother, Patty brings warmth and humor to her family with her playful quips for the little ones.

Julie Chambers

Research Vice President and Co-Founder

Julie has three decades of experience as an executive in enterprises spanning the energy, gaming, cosmetics, and housing sectors. Her driving motivation is derived from nurturing women to succeed and enriching the lives of others. In addition to her position at Sustainable Power and Lighting, she leads a non-profit focused on assisting the blind and keeping seniors in their homes.

Julie is a graduate of National American University and Mitchell Technical College with degrees in business administration, computer science, and accounting.

Dr. David Graves

Engineering Vice President

David has 20 years of experience creating innovative solutions in the power generation and distribution, natural gas production and transmission, and finance industries. As a TOGAF-certified enterprise architect, he has held leadership positions driving global critical infrastructure contracts totaling more than $8 billion.

David earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics with Honors from the University of Arizona and his Doctorate in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University.

Emy Maloutas

Director of Green Infrastructure

Emy is a landscape designer specializing in landscape-scale planning, riparian restoration, ecological food production, and inclusive community engagement. She has worked with local governments and conservancies to protect natural lands across California, Colorado, Florida, and Utah contributing to the growth of Salt Lake City’s Open Space Lands Program and later directing the city’s parks, urban forests, and historic cemetery. She was elected Mayor of Ward, Colorado, and has been a long-time advocate for Local government participation, sustainable agriculture, and environmental design. Over 10 years ago, Emy began consulting on utility-scale solar projects, advocating for renewable energy solutions for sustainable landscapes incorporating native plants, pollinator habitats, and regenerative agriculture.

Emy earned a BA in Humanities with a concentration in ecology, culture, and sustainability from the New College of California, is a certified permaculture designer, and earned a Master’s degree in landscape architecture from California State Polytechnic University Pomona.
